Things we've learned
God is Great
How to conserve
Yoga and fishing are harder than they look
More things sink than float
Kids can sleep through anything
The rings on a clam tell how old it is
How to make rum, chocolate, coffee, and...rum
The 10/20 rule. Boyd and Evan are comfortable with 10 knots of wind and 20 degrees of heel more than Adam and Joan.
The shells are sculpted differently on every island
We should never be teachers
Never say "once in a lifetime trip"
Dont judge a sailor by his knots
500 miles on a boat takes alot longer than in a car

ReplyDeleteSo does this mean the Kroeze knots are great or not so good???? Make sure you all are the things that float, not sink. Loving all of these beautiful warm pictures while we here in MI suffer through our non existent spring:(((
ReplyDeleteSounds like an educational trip. I hope Evan and Adam learned more from doing their homework.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your "once in a lifetime" trip with us! I have enjoyed your posts and pictures! God surely has made all things beautiful hasn't He!! What an amazing trip to take as a family! Safe travels back to Michigan when the time comes!! Christy Palmatier
